2. What the service includes

WeggPress® It maintains an existing WordPress site: the Provider migrates it to their infrastructure and then takes care of it from that point onwards.

They are included in the canon:

  • Migration of the existing site to the Wegg Agency infrastructure®, Once, upon activation
  • Hosting on a shared server by Wegg Agency®
  • Updates for WordPress, the theme, and the plugins
  • Restoration at the expense of the Provider if an update compromises the functioning of the site
  • Periodic backups with replicated copies for disaster recovery
  • Licenses for premium plugins used by the Provider for caching, CDN and SEO, for the duration of the service
  • Infrastructure monitoring and security interventions
  • Ticket support regarding the functioning of the website
  • Configuration of Consent (acconsento.click) for cookie information and consent collection: the license of the tool is at the expense of the Customer as described in the “Excluded” section”

The following remain excluded and are listed separately:

  • Registration and renewal of the domain name, if not explicitly included: it can be purchased separately by the Provider
  • Email boxes, which can also be purchased separately from the Provider
  • Consent License (acconsento.click) for managing privacy consent, purchasable separately from the Provider
  • Creation of new pages, new features, restyling and editorial changes
  • Changes and developments on request, calculated by the hour with a minimum intervention time of 30 minutes
  • Marketing services, advertising and content production
  • Everything that is not expressly stated in this list or in the contract

The fee for extra interventions is € 55.00 + VAT per hour from Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00. Outside that time, subject to availability of the Provider, the fee is € 71.50 + VAT per hour. Upon request, the Provider provides an estimate before performing the intervention.

3. How to activate the service

Activation takes place entirely online, through the form on the website. The contract is considered concluded at the moment when the payment for the first period is completed.

  1. Personal and billing data. Company name or first and last name, VAT number or tax code, billing address, PEC or unique code, reference email and phone number. The reference email is the address to which all communications regarding the service will be sent.
  2. Choice of plan. You choose between the three levels of section 4. The amount shown includes VAT.
  3. Payment. Payment is made on the Mollie platform. The Customer also authorizes subsequent charges using the same payment method. The request is recorded before payment is made: if the payment fails or is interrupted, the transaction remains open and can be resumed from the link received via email.
  4. Technical data of the site. URL of the site to be migrated, hosting currently in use, any backup, and notes for the team.
  5. Dispatching. An anti-spam check precedes the final sending.
  6. Documents. The Customer receives by email a summary of what has been signed.
  7. Migration. The team takes on the request and completes it. With each change of status, the Customer receives a notification in the reference email.

Site backup

In point 4 the form asks if the customer already has a backup of the website and the database.

  • Yes, up to 500 MB. The file is loaded directly into the form. The actual threshold is the lowest value between 500 MB and the server's upload limit, so in some cases it is lower: the form indicates it.
  • Yes, beyond the threshold. The form requests a link to WeTransfer or an equivalent service, instead of uploading the file.
  • No. The team contacts the Customer to agree on how to recover the site from the current hosting provider. In this case, the time depends on the cooperation of the outgoing provider.

The uploaded files end up in a reserved area of the Provider’s server, not accessible from the web.

The states of practice

State What does it mean
Waiting for payment The request has been registered but the payment has not yet been completed successfully.
Paid, data to be completed Payment has arrived; the technical data for the site are missing
Received The request is complete and is queued
In process The team is preparing the environment
In transition Migration is ongoing
Transfer completed The site is online on the Wegg Agency infrastructure®
Suspended for non-payment The service is suspended: see section 7
Terminated / not renewed The report is closed

4. Plans, prices and duration

The available plans are three. All amounts are expressed net and excluding VAT at 22%; in the form, the Customer sees the VAT amount included.

Plan How to pay Duration and total Upon expiration
Annual, unique solution € 650.00 + VAT (€ 793.00) in a single payment 12 months — € 650.00 + VAT A new annual charge of the same amount
Annual payment in 12 installments € 65.00 + VAT (€ 79.30) per month, for 12 months 12 months — € 780.00 + VAT The monthly installments continue at the same amount
Semestral € 75.00 + VAT (€ 91.50) per month, for 6 months 6 months — € 450.00 + VAT A new semester with the same conditions

Payment in twelve installments costs €130.00 + VAT more than the single solution: it is the difference between paying in advance and spreading the amount over twelve months.

The contractual duration and the frequency of the charges are two separate things. Those who choose the twelve installments have an obligation for twelve months, not for one month: the installment is monthly, the expiration date of the period remains twelve months from the first payment.

The Provider may update the prices for periods subsequent to the first one. The update is communicated to the reference email at least 60 days in advance of the expiration date, that is, in time for the Customer to cancel before the renewal takes effect. The prices for the current period never change.

5. Payment, billing and automatic renewal

Payments are handled by Mollie. The Provider does not see or store the card details: it only receives the transaction result and an identifier from Mollie.

With the first payment, the Customer authorizes a recurring payment mandate. Subsequent charges, whether monthly installments or renewal, are made using that payment method without the need for a new confirmation. The Customer agrees to keep the payment method valid and sufficient for the entire duration of the subscribed period.

The invoice is issued according to the data entered in the form and is delivered via the Interchange System to the specified PEC or unique code. Changes to the billing data must be communicated in writing to the Supplier’s reference email address.

Automatic renewal

Upon expiration, the service renews tacitly for an equal duration, unless cancelled within the terms of section 6.

Sixty days before the expiration date, the Provider sends a reminder to the reference email: it contains the expiration date, the amount of the renewal and the deadline within which it is possible to cancel. The same notice is also sent when automatic renewal has been disabled, to indicate that the service will end.

Automatic renewal can be turned off at any time by submitting a written request. Deactivation does not interrupt the charges already due for the current period: those who chose the twelve installments continue to pay them until the end of the twelve months. It only interrupts the renewal at the expiration date.

6. Cancellation, withdrawal and change of plan

Here we are talking about two different things, which it is advisable not to confuse: Termination, with which the automatic renewal is prevented at the expiration date, and right of withdrawal, with which the contract is dissolved outside that mechanism.

Termination: how to avoid renewal

The cancellation must be communicated in writing via e-mail to the address [email protected], or by registered letter A/R. It takes effect from the moment the recipient receives it, not from the date of sending, and an ordinary email is not sufficient to trigger the deadline.

The notice period is 60 days compared to the expiration of the current period. Without that notice, the contract is renewed for an additional period of equal duration. The reminder that the Supplier sends 60 days in advance serves precisely to signal that the term is about to expire.

In the contract signed, the same right is regulated in Article 6 under the name of withdrawal: this is what is described here.

If the cancellation arrives late

When it arrives What it entails
At least 60 days before the expiration date The service ends at the expiration date; no further charges
Less than 60 days before the expiration date, but before renewal The service is not provided for the subsequent period, but a penalty equal to 30% of the value of the subsequent period is due.
After the renewal has already taken place The entire amount for the current period is due, to cover the costs already prepaid by the Supplier

The Supplier's right to compensation for the greater damage remains unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is different from the cancellation: it concerns the termination of the contract outside the renewal mechanism. The cases in which it applies, the terms and conditions for exercising it are described on the dedicated page. Right of withdrawal.

Change of plan

The Customer can switch to another plan by submitting a written request. The change takes effect at the end of the current period, not immediately: the already paid period is carried over and the new plan starts from there. Therefore, the end date the Customer sees after a plan change may be more distant than twelve months: the period already paid for is added to the duration of the new plan.

At the end of the report

Within 30 days of the service expiration date, or the date of the withdrawal’s effectiveness if earlier, the Customer may request in writing a copy of the materials and content. The Provider is not obligated to deliver data, content, credentials, or domains if no payment has been received at that date.

After the 30 days have passed without a written request, the Provider is no longer required to retain data, backups, configurations, source codes, licenses, and domain names related to the Customer.

7. Failure to pay, suspension and termination

As long as the charges are paid in full, there’s nothing to do: the service continues on its own.

When a charge fails — card expired, insufficient funds, mandate revoked — the sequence is this:

  1. The automatic renewal is disabled. The Provider cannot continue to attempt charges on a payment method that is not responding.
  2. The Customer receives a notice of default to the reference email, with the amount due and the deadline within which to settle the matter.
  3. The Customer has 30 days to regularize the situation. In this window the site remains online.
  4. After 30 days the service is suspended. and the website is no longer accessible online.

The suspension does not extinguish the debt: the amounts due up to that point remain due. The Supplier may also invoke the express termination clause provided for in the contract and immediately interrupt the supply.

Failure to pay for renewal may also result in the failure to renew associated services. An unrenewed domain name becomes available on the market and can be registered by anyone: the Provider is not responsible for its loss.

To reactivate a suspended service, you must pay the due amount and agree with the Provider on its resumption. A closed subscription cannot be reopened: a new one is created, reusing the payment mandate that has already been authorized.

8. Obligations of the Customer

The Customer guarantees that the data entered in the form are true, complete and up-to-date, and promptly communicates any changes to the billing and reference email details. Communications sent to the last known address are considered received.

The Customer remains the owner of the materials it provides — texts, logos, trademarks, images, documents, code — and is responsible for their content. The Customer guarantees that it has the necessary rights to use them and holds the Supplier harmless from any claims by third parties.

The Customer undertakes to:

  • Do not publish on the website content that is illegal, defamatory, in violation of the rights of others or of applicable regulations.
  • Do not use the service to send spam, distribute malware, or conduct activities that compromise the security of the infrastructure.
  • Do not systematically exceed the resources of the shared server to the detriment of other hosted sites
  • Safeguard access credentials carefully and do not share them with unauthorized third parties
  • Transmit the material requested by the Supplier within the agreed timeframes

If the Customer fails to deliver the requested materials or information, the Supplier does not guarantee the complete and timely delivery of the service and remains nevertheless entitled to demand payment thereof. The Supplier may immediately suspend the service, giving notice thereof, in the event of use that puts the infrastructure at risk or exposes the Supplier to liability towards third parties.

9. Guarantees, responsibilities and limitations

The Provider provides the service with the professional diligence required by the industry and undertakes to keep the site accessible and updated. The service is an obligation of means:

The Provider does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the website, which also depends on third-party infrastructure.

Do not fall under the responsibility of the Supplier:

  • Interruption due to failures, maintenance or unavailability of data centers, registrars, networks or other third-party providers
  • Malfunctions caused by actions by the Customer or third parties commissioned by them on the site or in the environment
  • Content published by the Customer and consequences of its use
  • Loss of positioning in search engines, traffic or revenue
  • Events of force majeure

The Provider intervenes at its own expense when an update it has performed compromises the functioning of the site. This is a guarantee of the work performed, not a guarantee of commercial results.

The Customer may verify the service and report any discrepancies within 15 working days of the completion notification. After the deadline has passed without written objections, the testing is deemed approved.

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Supplier’s total liability to the Customer may not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the current contractual period. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits and loss of business opportunities is excluded.

The original content created by the Provider remains the property of the Customer, subject to the full payment of the remuneration. The Customer authorizes the Provider to cite the project and to use the name, logo and brand for portfolio and communication purposes, in accordance with the Customer’s reputation and confidentiality.

If the contract provides for the technical management of the site, the Customer authorizes the inclusion in the footer of the statement «Site created and/or managed by Wegg Agency®, brand of 14spm S.r.l.» with a link to wegg.agency. The statement can be removed upon written request, subject to agreement between the Parties.

10. Personal data, backup and retention

The data controller is 14spm S.r.l. The data collected by the form — personal and billing information, contact details, technical information about the site — are processed to execute the contract, fulfill tax obligations, and manage support. The legal basis is the execution of the contract and, for tax obligations, the legal requirement.

The sending of newsletters and commercial communications takes place only with the express consent of the user, which can be revoked at any time without affecting the service.

The payment data are processed directly by Mollie, which acts as the autonomous holder. The Provider does not receive or store the card details.

The backup files uploaded in the form

The files uploaded during activation are stored in a reserved area of the Provider’s server, not accessible from the web, in a folder dedicated to each Customer. They are used exclusively for the migration and are deleted upon completion of the migration or at the request of the Customer.

If the Customer sends the backup via a third-party service such as WeTransfer, the processing carried out by that service is governed by the terms of that service.

The site backups produced by the Provider during the provision of the service are an operational tool, not a repository available to the Customer: their retention ends at the end of the relationship, in accordance with section 6.

Conservation and rights

The data from the request are kept for the time necessary to execute the contract and for the legal deadlines regarding taxes and prescription. The Customer may exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — access, rectification, cancellation, limitation, portability, objection — by writing to the contact details indicated at the bottom of this page.

The Supplier's website uses a Google anti-spam system (reCAPTCHA) on the activation form: its use involves the processing of certain technical data by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.

11. Amendments, applicable law and clauses to be approved

The Supplier may modify these conditions to adapt them to regulatory, technical or organizational changes. The modifications are communicated to the reference email at least 60 days in advance and apply from the next contractual period. If the Customer does not intend to accept them, they may cancel within that period without penalties.

The Provider may also modify the technical components of the service — infrastructure, plugins, tools — provided that this does not substantially reduce the agreed performance.

All relevant communications for the purposes of the contract take place via e-mail or postal mail, to the addresses indicated by the parties.

The contract is governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Court of Bologna.

Clauses to be approved specifically

Pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 1341, paragraph 2, of the Civil Code, the Customer specifically approves the clauses relating to: the consideration and method of payment; duration, tacit renewal and withdrawal; express resolution clause; limitation of liability and intellectual property; and competent jurisdiction.

The approval is collected with the signature of the contract that the Customer receives by email at the end of the activation. The publication of these conditions on this page does not replace that signature.

If a clause proves invalid or ineffective, the remaining clauses remain valid and the clause is replaced with a clause of equivalent content in accordance with the law.

12. Practical mini-guide

The questions that come up most often, with a brief answer. The following information is intended to help you find your way: in case of doubt, the contract and the previous sections apply.

  • From where I start. From the activation form. You need the billing data, the URL of the site to migrate, and a payment method. Ten minutes, if the data are readily available.
  • I don't have a backup of the site. The same procedure can be followed: in the form, the answer is «no,» and the team contacts the customer to agree on how to recover the site from the current hosting provider. The time also depends on the cooperation of the outgoing provider.
  • The backup file weighs 2 GB. When the file is above the threshold indicated by the form, it does not load: a WeTransfer link or equivalent is pasted.
  • I need to do something during the migration. No. However, it is advisable to avoid publishing new content while the transfer is in progress, because it may not end up in the migrated copy. The team notifies when the site is online on the new infrastructure.
  • When my service ends. Twelve months from the date of the first payment, or six months for the semi-annual plan. The exact date is written in the contract received by email and is repeated in the reminder that arrives 60 days before.
  • Payment by installments: means that I can stop when I want to. No. The installment is monthly, the commitment is twelve months. The installments remain due until the end of the period, even if the automatic renewal is deactivated.
  • How I cancel. By PEC [email protected] or registered letter A/R, at least 60 days before the deadline. A simple email is not sufficient to trigger the deadline. After that deadline, the conditions of section 6 apply.
  • I want to change the plan. Requests must be made in writing. The change starts from the expiration of the current period, not immediately.
  • My card has expired. The new payment method must be communicated before the next charge is made. If a charge fails, automatic renewal is disabled and the 30-day period to rectify the situation described in section 7 begins.
  • Domain, email boxes and Consent are included in the fee. No, unless otherwise agreed in writing: they remain the responsibility of the Customer. However, you can purchase them through us, so everything remains under a single management.
  • If I change my provider tomorrow. Within 30 days of the end of the service, you may request in writing a copy of the contents, provided that there are no unpaid amounts. After that period, the Provider is no longer required to retain anything.
  • I need assistance. An open ticket is created from the support panel reported on the website, or you can write to the contact details below.
