Using Artificial Intelligence Systems

On this site, there is an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant (WeggBot 2.0) active, provided via the Chatbase platform (CHATBASE.CO INC., a company based in the United States). The chatbot is clearly identified as an automated system at the start of each conversation, in compliance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act).

Transfer of data to non-EU countries.

The data processed via the chatbot (conversation content and any connected technical data) are stored on servers located in the United States. The transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, pursuant to Article 46 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), signed with the provider within the framework of a specific Data Processing Agreement. The provider declares that it does not use the data for the training of artificial intelligence models and that it applies encryption of data in transit and at rest.

Conversations with the chatbot are stored for service improvement purposes, for the period stated in our Privacy Policy, to which we refer for full details on the processing of personal data and the rights of data subjects (Articles 15-22 GDPR). We invite you not to include sensitive personal data, credentials or confidential information in the chat.
