Il sito continua a funzionare, quindi va bene cos\u00ec. Peccato che sia esattamente questo il momento in cui il rischio \u00e8 dietro l\u2019angolo.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Non aggiornare WordPress espone il sito a vulnerabilit\u00e0 di sicurezza note, malfunzionamenti, perdita di dati, calo delle performance e problemi di posizionamento.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Non si tratta di una semplice minaccia: \u00e8 quello che succede, in concreto, a migliaia di siti ogni mese, semplicemente perch\u00e9 nessuno ha controllato core, plugin e tema per troppo tempo.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In questo articolo vediamo cosa rischia davvero un sito WordPress non aggiornato, perch\u00e9 il problema si aggrava col tempo invece di restare stabile, e cosa fare per non doverci pensare ogni Non sono fastidi burocratici: <\/span><b>correggono bug, chiudono vulnerabilit\u00e0 e mantengono la compatibilit\u00e0 tra le parti che compongono il sito.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Core, plugin e temi: dove nascono davvero le vulnerabilit\u00e0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondo i dati raccolti da <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sucuri<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, tra i siti WordPress violati una quota rilevante aveva il <\/span><b>core software obsoleto al momento dell&#8217;incidente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, e le <\/span><b>versioni pi\u00f9 vulnerabili<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sono quasi sempre quelle pi\u00f9 <\/span><b>datate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Le linee guida ufficiali di WordPress parlano non a caso di<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.wordpress.org\/advanced-administration\/security\/hardening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hardening<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> come attivit\u00e0 <\/span><b>continuativa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, non come intervento una tantum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ma il core non \u00e8 l&#8217;unico punto debole.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con migliaia di plugin disponibili, ogni estensione installata \u00e8 una superficie d&#8217;attacco in pi\u00f9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un plugin non aggiornato (o peggio, non pi\u00f9 mantenuto dal suo sviluppatore) pu\u00f2 restare <\/span><b>vulnerabile anche quando il resto del sito \u00e8 perfettamente in regola.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il falso mito: \u201cil sito funziona, quindi va bene cos\u00ec\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sfatiamo un mito: un sito online e apparentemente stabile non \u00e8 sinonimo di sito sicuro.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Molte compromissioni restano <\/span><b>invisibili<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> per settimane: il sito continua a caricare, i form continuano (in apparenza) a funzionare, ma sotto la superficie sono gi\u00e0 presenti file modificati, codice malevolo o accessi non autorizzati.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La domanda giusta non \u00e8 \u201cil sito funziona?\u201d, ma <\/span><b><i>\u201cil sito \u00e8 aggiornato, controllato e monitorato da qualcuno che se ne occupa
