A simple and immediate digital experience to convey the value of professional training

Training division of Erretì, Erretì Academy is a point of reference for professional training, safety at work and the qualification to operate forklifts and earthmoving machinery.

Despite the very high standard of the physical courses, the previous online presence did not do justice to the quality of the Academy: registration processes were fragmented, based on paper or static forms, making the scalability of the business complex and the user experience unimportant.

Erretì Academy needed a digital ecosystem capable of enhancing the educational offer, simplify processes and offer users a modern, clear and intuitive shopping experience.

GOAL

Making training accessible, clear and fully digital

The Academy needed a’infrastructure capable of handling the complexity of compulsory training (Legislative Decree 81/08) with the simplicity of a modern and accessible website. 

Among the critical issues to be resolved, we were faced with the following challenges:

  • Present the training offer in a clear and structured manner
  • Implementing an advanced booking system, written entirely ad hoc
  • Ensuring intuitive navigation between categories, calendars and courses
  • Allow bookings for both individuals and companies, even for multiple participants
  • Integrating a direct payment system via PayPal
  • Avoiding the use of plugins to keep the entire infrastructure light, scalable and customisable

TECHNICAL SOLUTION

A tailor-made infrastructure for advanced training management

New website and UX Design

Through a photo shoot dedicated and the use of graphic mockups, we created a visual identity that immediately communicates the value of the Academy. The structure of the new website was designed to be...

  • Chiara, with comprehensive, up-to-date and easily understandable course sheets
  • Modular, to host an ever-changing catalogue

The result is a modern, professional and perfectly aligned to the quality of the Academy, a conversion-oriented platform, with call to action clear and a simplified booking flow. 

Purpose-built reservation system

For maximum flexibility and performance, the entire booking module was developed entirely in PHP (with ACF Pro and Forminator Pro) without the use of external booking plugins.

This made it possible to implement:

  • Dual displaythe user can choose between an interactive calendar or a list view
  • Multi-Target BookingDifferentiated management between private individuals (simplified registration) and companies (registration of several participants for the same session)
  • Automation: dynamic course sheets linked to available dates
  • Direct purchase via PayPal with immediate confirmation
  • Optimised back-end for the management of registrations, participants and dates

The system is designed to be light, fast and fully integrated into the CMS, with no external dependencies.

Scalable architecture

The platform is set up to grownew courses, new types and new functionalities can be added without impacting on performance.

Today Erretì Academy can count on a website that communicates authority, clarity and reliability. The booking system allows for the first time to manage each course independently, from publication to purchase.
